Dynamic AI Version 6.4.24 is Released

Cintac has announced the release of Dynamic AI Version 6.4.24. This latest release incorporates a new table comparison feature, and is one of the fastest and easiest ways of finding the differences between two tables or views that are supposed to be identical. This release also provides support for using Dynamic Ai on the iPad.

What Are the Benefits of Dynamic AI’s Compare Feature?

While running reports that compare database tables is a task that we would all rather leave to database administrators, the new Compare feature incorporated into Dynamic AI, means that we no longer have to wait for an expert in the art of database manipulation to do table comparisons. 

Dynamic AI enables business users to identify changes that need to be made to database tables, either as a one off operation during a planned migration event, or as a regular, scheduled activity for keeping legacy systems maintained, without the need for calling for technical assistance. For scheduled comparisons, notify anyone who is interested in the resulting reports, simply by specifying their email addresses when you set up the activity.

Regardless of how you have ended up with differences between two tables that should be identical, this latest release of Dynamic AI produces a detailed listing of each table’s data, followed by a summary report highlighting:

  • which table you have designated as the source for the compare operation, and which table you have chosen as the destination
  • the number of exactly matching table records
  • the number of updates that need to be made to existing records, e.g., Product 011 exists in both tables, but with a colour of “white” in one table and a colour of “red” in the other table
  • the number of records that exist in the source table, but not in the destination table
  • the number of records that exist in the destination table, but not in the source table

Finally, to help you even further, Dynamic AI also creates the package files necessary to implement the proposed updates.
