This year has seen Unicorn becoming more established in the app development market, with a strong emphasis on iOS apps for iPhones and iPads.
The Scanduc 2012 conference has been a great way to end the year, impressing us all with innovative and imaginative use of Visual DataFlex and giving us an insight of what we’ll be able to achieve with VDF 17.1.
We’d like to thank Front-IT for organising such an excellent conference, the quality and content of the presentations was first class across the board, making this event one of the best Mike’s attended.

While at Scanduc 2012, Mike delivered a presentation about developing native iPhone apps with VDF web services, demonstrating how they connect to Visual DataFlex web services to deliver applications on iPhone and iPad devices. You can see the content of this presentation on our website, at VDF on Mobile Devices Presentation Scanduc 2012.
Download Mike’s FREE Customer Information Demo App for iPhone and iPad
As part of his VDF on Mobile Devices presentation, Mike created a Customer information maintenance application using web services to access the Visual DataFlex 17.0 AjaxWeb sample customer data.
We have uploaded the app to the App Store for you to download and try out. Download Free Now or search the App Store for Scanduc12.
The app connects to a database on our web server so please feel free to have a play. We’ve taken a snapshot of the customer data, which we’ll reload from time to time, so don’t worry about changing the data.
From all of us at Unicorn
We wish you a Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for 2013.
