The last day to order PSQL v11 from Actian is June 30, 2015.
End of general availability means that PSQL v11 (Workgroup, Server and Vx Server) is no longer sold by Actian. Other important dates related to PSQL v11 are:
- Transition Support – January 1, 2016 – Actian will limit research time on problem resolution for products in Transition Support. No maintenance updates will be delivered, with the exception of patches provided in Actian’s sole discretion to resolve critical issues with the product. Support is still available to qualifying customers.
- End of Support – July 1, 2016 – Standard technical support is no longer available for the product. Phone support for End of Support products is available for a premium charge; however, no fix or resolution is guaranteed. Actian will provide support for select End of Support products on an additional charge, contract only basis. The last day for PSQL v11 standard technical support is June 30, 2016.
NOTE: End of General Availability applies only to non-contract purchases of PSQL v11 directly from Actian. If you have an OEM contract, availability of PSQL v11 is determined by the terms of that contract.
v12 Workgroup Upgrade and v11 User Count Increase Promotions
To help manage this transition, Actian is offering two promotions. For customers ready to move to PSQL v12, there is the offer of limited time Workgroup upgrade pricing with Workgroup Deployment Packs. For customers who need to stay on PSQL v11, there is an offer of discounted PSQL v11 Server User Count Increases.
Orders under the promotion will be accepted beginning 1 June 2015 and must be received by 11:59 p.m. BST 30 June 2015.
